FFmpeg core 0.12.10 source materials

The engine is an unmodified @ffmpeg/core 0.12.10 ESM build, licensed GPL-2.0-or-later. The matching ffmpeg.wasm release is v12.15 (71aa99d37c02a7b4c435275ca9ef50e612f6efa1). It embeds FFmpeg 5.1.4 and the external libraries listed in manifest.json. Individual library licenses are retained in the source archives and combined notices.

Download manifest.json and the files listed for each component. A .tar.gz file is a complete source archive. Where an archive has .part01/.part02 suffixes, concatenate those files in the listed order before decompressing. SHA-256 hashes are supplied for each part and the reconstructed archive. HarfBuzz and Emscripten are split to respect the host's per-file size limit.

The application source ZIP includes scripts/restore-video-sources.mjs. With Node 24, run it from the project root after restoring supporting assets. It verifies hashes, reconstructs archives and extracts them into a new video-source-build directory. It also writes a Dockerfile.sources that uses these local sources instead of fetching mutable branches.

Build prerequisites: Docker with BuildKit/buildx on a supported Linux host (or Docker's Linux VM), internet access for the official emscripten/emsdk:3.1.40 image and system build tools. From video-source-build, run:

The original upstream Dockerfile, Makefile, build scripts and FFmpeg bindings are preserved inside the ffmpeg.wasm archive. The zimg googletest submodule is included at its recorded commit. SDL 2.24.2 (used by Emscripten's SDL2 port) and Emscripten 3.1.40 source/runtime licenses are included. Upstream ffmpeg.wasm testdata is not needed to build the engine and is omitted.

Luma's loader only splits/reassembles the unmodified WASM for hosting and verifies its chunk hashes. No FFmpeg C code or codec implementation was changed. The installed WASM SHA-256 is 9f57947a5bd530d8f00c5b3f2cb2a3492faa7e5d823315342d6a8656d0a6b7b7.

Provenance: repository references were resolved to immutable commits dated before the npm publication on 2025-01-07. Engine version/configuration strings agree with the upstream build recipe. A byte-for-byte rebuild has not been performed on this Windows PC; the source bundle is not a claim of a reproduced compiler output. This directory provides sources and notices, not a warranty or patent license beyond the upstream terms.
