The strip shows sampled frames from your own video. Drag either purple handle to move the start or end; click inside the strip to scrub. Preview selection plays only the kept section. Use the arrow keys on a focused handle for 0.1-second steps, or Shift with an arrow for one second. Fine-tune times lets you enter exact values.
The trimmer copies the original compressed video and audio without re-encoding. It keeps your codec and quality in an MP4 file. Export boundaries may expand to a nearby keyframe or audio packet, including footage outside the selection. Review the downloaded clip before sharing. Browser playback still depends on codec support.
The current safety limits are 150 MiB, 5 minutes and 1080p input. Video export can still be slow or fail on a phone. Keep the tab open; cancel is available throughout processing.
